Oberfläche Haut
Haut ist Oberfläche, aber nicht oberflächlich, sondern meiner Meinung nach tiefgründig.
Oberflächen unterliegen der Veränderung, sie altern. Manche wirken dann edler, andere hingegen schäbig. Organische Haut verwandelt sich, wird von der Natur einer Metamorphose unterzogen.
Prozessen der Verwandlung spüre ich an zwei Beispielen nach.
Äpfel verlieren ihre pralle Form, werden faltig furchig. Die satte Farbe wird schimmelbraun und mutiert dann zu schwarz. Und auch ein Trocknungsprozess, der uns von den Kletzen vertraut ist.
Und dann sind da auch noch die Nuancen des Geruchs.
In der Rinde pulsiert die Lebenskraft des Baums. Stirbt er, dann vertrocknet sie, lädt den Borkenkäfer ein und fällt ab. Seine Spuren lesen sich wie Wege oder Zeichen.
Beide geben Zeugnis von der Zeit, die an der Oberfläche nagt.
Surface Skin
Skin is surface, but not superficial, but in my opinion profound.
Surfaces are subject to change, they age. Some then appear nobler, others, on the other hand, shabby. Organic skin transforms, undergoes metamorphosis by nature. I trace processes of transformation using two examples.
Apples lose their plump shape, become wrinkled furrows. The rich color turns moldy brown and then mutates into black. And also a drying process that is familiar to us from the Kletzen. And then there are the nuances of smell.
In the bark, the life force of the tree pulsates. If it dies, it dries up, invites the bark beetle and falls off. His traces read like paths or signs. Both bear witness to the time that gnaws at the surface.
