Endlich unendlich
In Hellbrunn sind Architektur, Kunst und Natur zu einer Einheit verwoben. Das manieristische Gesamtkunstwerk ist mit seiner 1613-1619 kunstvoll angelegten Parklandschaft ein Juwel der Gartenarchitektur.
Der frühere „Lustgarten“ des giardino secreto mit dem großen Wasserparterre wird heute von streng beschnittenen Baumreihen flankiert.
Genau dort führen die Baumspiegel die Idee von Hellbrunn als magischem Ort weiter und treiben ein Spiel mit der Wahrnehmung, das sich nicht auf den ersten Blick aufdrängt. Im Dialog mit der Natur haben sich in den Baumkronen 1400 kleine Spiegel gleichsam eingenistet. Sie sind an jenen Stellen angebracht, wo beim Baumschnitt Zweige und Äste entfernt wurden. Wo der Schnitt ein Ende gesetzt hat, entstand durch die aufgesetzten Spiegel ein neuer Anfang, in dem sich je nach Standort Äste, Blätter oder Wasser spiegeln. Sie sind auch imaginäre Fenster zum Himmel. Wer Glück hat oder geduldig ist, dem eröffnet sich auch ein Blick auf die Skulpturen im Park oder auf das Schloss. In diesem unendlichen Spiel bewegt sich der Flaneur zwischen Natur und Kunst.
Im Wandel der Lichtverhältnisse, der Jahreszeiten und der Wettersituation erschließen sich dem aufmerksamen Beobachter wechselnde Eindrücke. Der Lauf der Sonne durch den Tag und übers Jahr schafft so wundersame Erfahrungen, die der Magie des Ortes eine neue Attraktion hinzufügen.
Dem nicht so achtsamen Besucher wird beim Gang durch und mit dem Blick auf die Allee vielleicht ein merk- würdiges, märchenhaftes Gefühl überkommen, dass da irgend etwas nicht mit rechten Dingen zugeht, nicht „natürlich“ ist. Das passt zu manch anderen Erfahrungen der Irritation, die man in Hellbrunn machen kann.

In Hellbrunn, architettura, arte e natura si intrecciano. Il manieristico Gesamtkunstwerk del 1613-1619 con il parco ed il giardino è un gioiello di architettura del verde.
L’ex „Lustgarten“ del giardino segreto con il grande parterre d’acqua è ora fiancheggiato da filari di alberi rigorosamente tagliati.
Proprio qui gli “Specchi d’Albero” ci danno l’idea di Hellbrunn come un luogo magico dove il gioco e la percezione non sono assolutamente ovvi a prima vista.
In dialogo con la natura, 1.400 piccoli specchi sono, per così dire, incastonati nelle chiome degli alberi.
Essi sono collocati nei punti dove i rami sono stati rimossi durante la potatura. Dove il taglio ha significato la fine, un nuovo inizio è stato creato dagli specchi, che riflettono a seconda della loro posizione, rami, foglie o acqua. Così essi diventano anche immaginarie finestre aperte sul cielo .
Se si è fortunati , si possono anche scorgere le sculture del parco oppure il castello. In questo gioco infinito, il flaneur si muove tra arte e natura.
Il cambio delle condizioni di luce, delle stagioni e del tempo offrono all’osservatore più attento impressioni sempre mutevoli.
La posizione del sole durante la giornata e per tutto l’anno creano esperienze miracolose che donano ancora più fascino e magia al luogo.

Il visitatore meno attento passeggiando tra i viali potrà sperimentare una sensazione di straniamento e di “innaturalità”, sensazione che ben si adatta alle tante altre esperienze “irritanti” che Hellbrunn ci regala .

In Hellbrunn architecture , art, and nature are woven into a unity. The mannerist overall work of art represents with its elaborate and artistic parkland a jewel of landscape gardening. Today, the former pleasance (Lustgarten) of the giardino secreto (secret garden) with its huge water ground floor is accompanied by severely cut rows of trees.. Exactly there, the tree-mirrors continue the idea of Hellbrunn as a magic place. They perform a play upon perception, which does not impose itself at first sight. In dialogue with nature 1400 small mirrors, so to speak, have settled in the treetops. They are fastened onto those spots, where twigs and branches were removed when the trees were cut. Where the cut put an end a new beginning has been developed by the newly fastened mirror. In this mirror branches, leaves or water are reflected depending on your position. Furthermore, they are imaginary windows on the sky. Whoever is lucky and patient will be rewarded by a glimpse of the sculptures in the park and of the palace of Hellbrunn. In this permanent play the stroller moves between nature and art. Throughout the changes of lighting conditions, of seasons and of weather conditions changing impressions disclose themselves to the attentive observer. Thus, the course of the sun through the day as well as through the year creates wonderful experiences which add a new attraction to the magic of the place. The less attentive visitor will perhaps be overcome by a fairy-like and strange feeling when he strolls through the park and looks at the alley. He might think that something odd is going on there, which is not natural. This feeling corresponds to some other experiences of irritation which can be had in Hellbrunn.
